Stock Condition Survey Manager - Orpington

Opportunity for a highly numerate individual with excellent inter-personal, project management, analytical and presentation skills to join our specialist stock condition survey team.  

The successful candidate will ideally hold a 1st class degree in Real Estate, Surveying or another property or engineering-related subject, have experience in property condition assessment and will possess excellent IT skills with particular experience using MS Excel, MS Access and MS Project.

STOCK CONDITION SURVEYORS – VARIOUS LOCATIONS UK AND IRELAND

To support our expanding workload, we are recruiting both experienced and trainee stock condition surveyors to undertake surveys of social housing properties.

We require professional, committed and well-presented individuals with a passion for quality, the ability to work independently using initiative, but that want to be part of an established team supporting our project management and administrative processes.  Candidates will be required to use electronic devices including iPads, Tablets and Digital Cameras and Measuring Equipment so must be competent and confident in the use of such equipment.

 Candidates will ideally have experience of undertaking housing condition assessments and have a formal qualification in property, construction, housing or maintenance.   Knowledge and qualifications in Domestic Energy Assessments (EPCs) and/or defects diagnosis would be an advantage.

 We also invite applications from people ‘qualified by experience’ through building, maintenance, engineering and property / housing management roles.

 Our commissions are based mainly in London and the South East, but we have occasional project work in the Republic of Ireland and Wales.  So an interest, willingness and capability to travel and have occasionally stay away from home would be an advantage.

Opportunities are available of a permanent, fixed-term contract and temporary/freelance basis.

 Chartered Building Surveyor - Potters Bar

Opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor with between 2 - 5 years PQE to join our busy team in Potters Bar.

The workload is varied including a mix of professional (surveys, defects diagnosis, party wall matters) and project work (contract administration and employers agent services in connection with housing and education sectors refurbishment and alterations).

Assistant General Practice Surveyor - Orpington

Opportunity for a graduate (MSc / BSc) GP surveyor to join our busy Strategic Asset Management team, supporting a number of prestigious and complex projects.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a 1st class degree in Real Estate, Surveying, Valuation or another property or engineering-related subject, and will have some post-graduate experience of working for a larger general practice/agency/valuation firm.  

The role requires an individual with dynamic character, exemplary written and oral presentation skills, impeccable attention to detail and excellent IT capability, with particular experience using MS Excel and web-based portals.
